**DiFlexx® Herbicide**

DiFlexx® Herbicide, developed by Bayer CropScience (EPA Registration Number: 264-1173), is a versatile herbicide designed to provide effective control of a broad spectrum of annual and perennial broadleaf weeds in corn production. Its formulation combines the active ingredient dicamba with the CSI™ Safener technology, enhancing crop safety and weed management flexibility.

**Key Features:**

- **Active Ingredient:** Contains 56.6% diglycolamine salt of dicamba, a Group 4 herbicide known for its efficacy against tough broadleaf weeds.

- **CSI™ Safener Technology:** Incorporates a crop safener that enables corn plants to better tolerate the herbicide, reducing potential crop injury and allowing for greater application flexibility.

- **Broad-Spectrum Weed Control:** Effectively manages over 100 annual and perennial weeds, including glyphosate-resistant species such as Palmer amaranth, waterhemp, ragweed, and lambsquarters.

- **Flexible Application Window:** Can be applied from burndown through the V10 growth stage of corn, providing growers with a wide timeframe for application.

- **Tank Mix Compatibility:** Compatible with various herbicides, including Corvus®, Balance® Flexx, Laudis®, and Capreno®, allowing for customized weed management programs.

**Benefits:**

- **Enhanced Crop Safety:** The inclusion of the CSI™ Safener allows for the use of DiFlexx in corn without compromising crop health, even when applied with other herbicides.

- **Resistance Management:** Offers an effective tool against herbicide-resistant weed populations, aiding in the management of glyphosate-, PPO-, and ALS-resistant species.

- **Operational Efficiency:** The liquid formulation and broad application window contribute to ease of use and integration into various corn production systems.

**Usage Recommendations:**

- **Application Rates:** For small, actively growing annual weeds, apply 8–16 fl oz per acre. For established weed growth, use 16–24 fl oz per acre. Specific rates should be determined based on weed species and growth stages.

- **Adjuvants:** The addition of non-ionic surfactants (NIS) at 0.25% v/v or crop oil concentrates (COC) at 1% v/v is recommended to enhance herbicide performance.

- **Rainfastness:** Avoid application if rainfall or irrigation is expected within four hours, as this may reduce effectiveness.

**Safety and Handling:**

- **Personal Protective Equipment (PPE):** Handlers should wear long-sleeved shirts, long pants, chemical-resistant gloves, and shoes plus socks during mixing, loading, and application.

- **Restricted Entry Interval (REI):** Observe a 24-hour REI following application, during which entry to treated areas should be restricted.
