**InterLock® Adjuvant**
InterLock® Adjuvant, developed by WinField United (EPA Registration Number: 1381-50004), is a crop-based adjuvant designed to enhance the efficacy of various crop protection products by improving spray deposition and reducing drift. It is compatible with a wide range of pesticides, including herbicides, fungicides, insecticides, desiccants, and defoliants.
**Key Features:**
- **Drift Reduction:** InterLock® significantly decreases the number of fine spray particles, minimizing off-target movement and ensuring that more product reaches the intended plants.
- **Improved Deposition and Coverage:** By optimizing droplet size, InterLock® enhances spray coverage, leading to better contact with target surfaces and improved product performance.
- **Canopy Penetration:** The adjuvant aids in driving spray droplets deeper into plant canopies, ensuring that active ingredients reach pests or diseases residing within dense foliage.
- **Versatile Application:** Suitable for use with both ground and aerial applications across various crops, providing flexibility in different spraying operations.
**Usage Recommendations:**
- **Application Rates:**
- For spray volumes of 5 to 25 gallons per acre (gpa): Use 4 to 6 ounces per acre.
- For spray volumes of 25 to 50 gpa: Use 8 to 10 ounces per acre.
- For spray volumes exceeding 50 gpa: Use 10 ounces per acre.
- For fungicide and insecticide applications: Use 2 to 4 ounces per acre.
- **Mixing Instructions:** InterLock® can be premixed in a chemical inductor, injected, or added after pesticides and other adjuvants are in the tank.
**Safety and Handling:**
- **Personal Protective Equipment (PPE):** Handlers should wear appropriate PPE as recommended on the product label to ensure safe usage.
- **Storage:** Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and ignition sources.
*Note:* Always read and follow the product label instructions and adhere to state and local regulations. Consult with local agricultural extension services or crop advisors for guidance tailored to your specific region and cropping system.
