**Liberty® ULTRA Herbicide**

Liberty® ULTRA Herbicide, developed by BASF Corporation (EPA Registration Number: 7969-500), represents the next generation of glufosinate herbicides, offering enhanced efficacy and efficiency for growers. Powered by BASF's patented Glu-L™ Technology, Liberty ULTRA is designed for post-emergence control of a broad spectrum of broadleaf and grass weeds in glufosinate-tolerant crops, including soybeans, cotton, corn, and canola.

**Key Features:**

- **Enhanced Weed Control:** Liberty ULTRA has demonstrated 20% superior weed control compared to generic glufosinate products, effectively managing tough weeds such as Palmer amaranth, waterhemp, giant ragweed, and kochia.

- **Glu-L™ Technology:** This patented synthesis process refines the glufosinate-ammonium active ingredient to its most herbicidally active component, allowing each gallon of Liberty ULTRA to cover 33% more acres than generic formulations.

- **Liberty Lock Formulation:** The custom formulation enhances droplet adhesion to weed leaves, resulting in nearly three times more herbicide penetration into weeds compared to generic glufosinate products.

- **Reduced Use Rate:** The standard use rate is 24 fluid ounces per acre, packing the power of 32 fluid ounces of traditional Liberty herbicide into a more convenient volume.

**Usage Recommendations:**

- **Crops:** Approved for use on glufosinate-tolerant varieties of soybeans, cotton, corn, and canola.

- **Application Timing:** Apply post-emergence when target weeds are actively growing and within the appropriate growth stages as specified on the product label.

- **Application Rates:** Apply at a rate of 24 fluid ounces per acre. Refer to the product label for specific rates based on weed species and infestation levels.

- **Adjuvants:** The use of ammonium sulfate (AMS) is recommended to enhance herbicidal activity.

- **Tank Mixing:** Liberty ULTRA is compatible with various herbicides and adjuvants. Conduct a compatibility test before tank mixing and follow all label instructions.

**Safety and Handling:**

- **Personal Protective Equipment (PPE):** Handlers must wear long-sleeved shirts, long pants, chemical-resistant gloves, and shoes plus socks during mixing, loading, application, and cleanup.

- **Restricted Entry Interval (REI):** Do not enter treated areas without protective equipment for 12 hours following application.

- **Environmental Considerations:** Liberty ULTRA is toxic to aquatic organisms. Avoid applications near water bodies and follow label guidelines to minimize runoff.

*Note:* Always read and follow the product label instructions and adhere to state and local regulations. Consult with local agricultural extension services or crop advisors for guidance tailored to your specific region and cropping system.
